Simply Green Day Spa Welcomes both Ladies & Gentlemen. We offer waxing from head to toe and we Do Not Double Dip in our waxing services. 


WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR WAXING APPOINTMENT: Leave it to the professionals; don't be tempted to pluck, shave or wax at home if you want an excellent smooth result that will last longer. 


We recommend at least 24 hours before waxing drink water and hydrate your body. Hydrated body means healthy skin and a lesser chance of getting ingrown hairs. It is always best before you get wax to wash your skin with a washcloth soap and warm water, then dry thoroughly but be gentle or you could end up with irritated skin. If you just came from the gym and you are perspiring, it’s a good idea to lightly dust your skin with powder. If your skin is moist most wax simply won’t adhere properly for a clean waxing service. Waxing removes hair from the root, so it can last for up to six weeks or more depending on how frequently you wax. Of course, genetics, age, and other factors will depend on how long it personally lasts for you. With any waxing service, make sure to tell your esthetician if you're taking an oral acne medication, using topical treatments (Like Retin-A), or scrub your skin with strong exfoliating products that contain salicylic acid, white willow bark, or glycolic acid. 

 

The best time to wax is when your hairs are no longer than ½” and no shorter than 3 mm. If it’s too long we can trim it for you but if it’s to short we will have to let it grow some more. If you have cuts or sunburn we recommend you hold off on waxing until your skin has healed. Many women also find they’re more sensitive to pain right before their period, so you may have a better experience if you wait till after. More importantly moisturized skin is beautiful skin. So once you’re done waxing remember to moisturize when you get home.
