Booking Appointments

Simply Green Day Spa warmly welcomes walk-ins based on availability. Our dedicated staff is attuned to your needs and is committed to accommodating your budget and schedule. To ensure you secure the desired time and services, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance, given the high demand for our offerings. Please note that credit card details are necessary for booking. If you have a voucher or gift card, kindly inform the front desk so that we can provide you with any relevant policy information.

Guest Arrivals

To enhance your experience and that of your guest, we kindly request that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This gives you the opportunity to relax and complete any necessary forms while we assist you in ensuring a smoother appointment. 


We appreciate your understanding regarding any late arrivals in advance. Please note that late arrivals may not fully benefit from the services offered. Your appointment duration will be reduced due to subsequent bookings. Furthermore, all late arrivals will be accountable for the entire cost of the services you reserved.

Cancellations

Your appointment holds great significance for us at Simply Green Day Spa, as it has been exclusively reserved for you. We recognize that schedule changes may be necessary at times; therefore, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations and 48 hours' notice for parties of three or more. Last-minute cancellations will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of your scheduled services.


For missed appointments or "no-shows," a charge of 100% of the original service booked will apply. Arriving late may restrict our ability to provide the full range of services you requested. Please note that late arrivals will not receive an extension of their scheduled treatments; services will only be conducted during the remaining time of the appointment, and you will be responsible for the total appointment fees. However, we understand that emergencies can occur, and we will do our best to accommodate you when they do.

Young Guests

Our spa warmly invites young guests (children) aged 3 and older to enjoy nail care services, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. For other treatments such as massages, facials, and waxing, we recommend that young guests be at least 16 years old. It is mandatory for the young guest to have a parent or guardian present for approval. Parents or guardians bear responsibility for any damages caused by the young guest. Yes, we do require that a parent or guardian accompany the young guest for all services.

Gratuity

Gratuities are not included in the pricing of services or packages. Spa staff graciously welcome tips. If you would like to express your gratitude for exceptional service, please provide gratuities directly to the technicians, if possible, or leave them at the reception desk during checkout. Just inform the receptionist to whom you wish to direct the gratuity. Our suggested standard gratuity for spa treatments ranges from 18% to 25% of the service fee.

Gift-Cards and Promotions

Gift Certificates can be purchased for a designated amount or for a specific service. When scheduling your appointment, please let us know that you will be using a gift card or promotion. Also, remember to provide the gift card or promotion number during the booking process. Guests must present their gift card or promotion to access their services. Please note that gift cards or promotions will not be valid beyond their expiration date. Simply Green Day Spa is not liable for any gift cards or promotions that are lost, stolen, or destroyed; any alterations will render them void. Gift cards and promotions are not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. A full service charge will apply for any late cancellations or no-show appointments.

Customer Satisfaction/Refunds

If you are unhappy with your assigned nail technician, esthetician, or massage therapist, please inform the front desk within the first ten minutes of your service. The front desk will do its best to make arrangements that better suit your preferences.


Please note that refunds and rearrangements cannot be processed after the initial ten minutes of your service. Additionally, all packages and memberships sold are non-refundable. These packages and memberships cannot be shared or exchanged for other services.

Service Pricing

Simply Green Day Spa reserves the right to modify its rules, regulations, services, and pricing at any time. Additionally, Simply Green Day Spa maintains the authority to refuse or terminate service for any reason.

Personal Articles

Simply Green Day Spa does not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items or articles left on our premises. You are accountable for your personal belongings. We kindly ask that you verify everything before your departure.

Forms Of Payment

Simply Green Day Spa will only accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Gift Certificates. *Personal or Business Checks Are Not Accepted.*

Special Considerations

Guests with high blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnancy, or any other medical complications are kindly requested to communicate their medical conditions to our receptionist and therapist. It is the client's responsibility to inform Simply Green Day Spa of any ongoing medical treatments and to provide written consent from their physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., if necessary.


As you may know, effective March 1st, 2015, the minimum wage in Oakland rose from $9 to $12.25 per hour, with a further increase to $13.50 beginning January 1st, 2016. We wholeheartedly support this wage increase. While many businesses have reluctantly adjusted their prices, we believe we have discovered a unique approach to maintain our rates while often offering discounts.


Beginning January 1st, 2020, a $3.00 service charge will be applied to each service, excluding retail products, gift cards, non-expiring spa packages, and memberships. However, if you choose to pay for your services in cash, we will waive the service charge and provide a $1 discount, totaling a $4.00 cash discount. Currently, our credit card processor charges us an average of 2.85% or more per transaction. By reducing some of these merchant fees, we can extend the savings to our valued members and guests.
